HOST FAMILIES NEEDED!
Would you consider billeting Canada's Future Leaders for four days? In 1951, The Rotary Club of Ottawa established its annual "Adventure in Citizenship" Program in which some 200 senior high school students, from across Canada, spend four days in Ottawa enhancing their understanding and appreciation of Canadian citizenship. Public figures including former Governor General Adrienne Clarkson, the Right Hon. Joe Clark, and the Hon. Ed Broadbent participated in the program as students. Students have been carefully selected and sponsored by their local Rotary Clubs.
The dates for this year's program is Saturday, April 27, 2019 – Wednesday, May 1, 2019
The Host Family’s responsibility is to provide BED AND BREAKFAST for TWO OR MORE guests and to ensure that your guests are transported to the morning assembly point (7:30 -- 8:00 a.m. at a downtown location) and picked up in the evening (8:00 -10:00 p.m.) at a downtown location. We can provide transportation assistance if required. The students arrive from all across Canada during the day of Saturday, April 27th.
